Design para a valorização de Territórios de Enoturismo

This project is to highlight, through design, vineyard territories with relevant endogenous resources. From an intensive theoretical study, based on a bibliographic review concerning design and territory, wine tourism, wine tourism territory enhancement, and identity and design when experiencing vineyards, a group of elements that should belong in a strategy of vineyard territories tourist valorization was identified through design.

As a result of this investigation, some communication elements were developed, such as the TWINE project identity, itineraries, a Website, one App, a tourist guide, merchandising, and a strategy project which includes the stakeholders that should integrate a sustainable wine tourism development strategy (local community, wine producers, tourist organizations and visitors). The implementation of these tools will contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the territory under analysis, through wine tourism.
The logo presents three shapes of glasses, the sparkling wine glass represents the Bairrada region, the balloon glass (Bordeaux Pattern) represents the Beira Interior region, since it is a glass that is used for both red and white wine and this region is rich in the production of both types of wines, and finally the Dão region would be represented by the Bordeaux Pattern glass, a glass to be used with full-bodied red wine, a type of wine very common and known in the Dão region. In the project logo (overall), the three glasses are superimposed, with no transparencies, just a thin line defining the shape of the glass.
